I am currently sitting at home with nothing to do. I was gonna go watch a movie but Anchorage is currently being rained on by volcanic ash. I walked out to the end of my driveway, my eyes started burning, and I decided it would be better to come back inside and update the blog. So here's a quick rundown of what the movie we are shooting in June is all about.
We are going out on a limb and making a sequel to a movie that only 100 people have seen. We are taking the characters that dozens have come to know and love and putting them into a new situation. Not a true sequel, it will be accessible to those that haven't seen Beekeeping but there are probably a few things that fans will appreciate more.
This time around the Beekeepers end up making a bet that is going to be hard to win, and the price of losing could be pretty huge.
We've got most of the major cast and crew in place. The quick list of confirmed cast and crew
Bryant Mainord, David Turnbull, Jay Gourley, John Whitlock, Joey Weaver, Daniel Hernandez, Paul Jones
I'm sure I forgot a few, but those are the big ones. Here's another Dale video

Pre-Production Episode 1
We are about 2 and a half months away from starting to shoot the new movie. Seeing that written down in front of me it suddenly doesn't seem like that much time. I was about to write how everything is going smoothly and we are well on our way, but now I'm not so sure.
We've been at it for a few months now and have even shot one scene that we needed to get before an actor left town. Bryant should be back in Anchorage in a couple weeks and we will start the full time pre-production process. Getting together the actors that we still need and securing all of our locations. The script should be completely done in the next week or so, along with the schedule and all that.
Before we get going on the movie we are going to be shooting a bunch of youtube movies and most likely a couple of shorts. I will post some of them here, starting with a vlog from the laptop type guy from the first Beekeeping movie
